Alot of nice art here so far, and ChopperOlli, that Citroen looks really bad :)

I just finnished editing some pictures from this... I mean... last summers Jokers party in Sweden. I just love the look of the old "toy cameras" from Holga and Lomo, so I added the Lomo effect to my pictures :)

Wow ! great work this week by all you guys!
Here's ours. We Finished a bunch more art for the Finkosel this week.
This is the wooodcarving of Dragnut. It took me a helluva long time to get this sucker to this stage, but car and driver were united this week. Yeah, Its a hemi! Exhaust goes on in the morning.

I also completed the art panel of Fink Eliminator for the lower skirt that covers the mechanical. There will be eight of these. still have a couple to finish. All of Eds Finks will be represented somewhere on the carousel.
This one is about 3 ft tall, acrylic on plywood.

There's more, but I wont be able to post more till tonight.

We are bringing the full completed machine to the autorama in March. See ya there!

Been watching the progress of that carousel ever since I've been a member of the H.A.M.B. Man I wish I lived up in that neck of the woods to see it complete. That is one Cool well crafted peice of wood work. I know what it takes to carve something like that… Excelent!
    Enjoy!

Dragnut has about 200 man hours in him. All the carving is done with a chisel and mallet.
The carving blocks we start with are laminated 2 inch thick basswood. Heres a picture of Dragnut early on.
Its a stupid antiquated process, but I derive a lot of enjoyment out of carving ... "Traditional" I guess.

I've been staring at this for an hour now. This is one of the most attractive pieces of art ever posted here in my opinion. The colors, the composition, and the execution are TOP DRAWER!
I'll send you my address and you can ship it my way....Absolutely killer.
(Oh yeah, I'm in love with that girl!)

Dude, I GOTTA have that. Where do I send the dough. And Sinclair, your on my list man. Great start again this week guys. Whenever I start feeling a little cocky myself, I just look at the talent on the Friday Art Show. That knocks me down a few notches.
