what, girls cant have a dark side? :p
That is an actual photo taken by a sheriff in Texas during a mutilation investigation (whole show on Discovery about it), i just did my own interpretation. I like painting things that have an untold story. Art is art, i don't mean to scare anyone. That's actually my most prized piece at the moment, took about 1 month and ~40 hours to paint.
but hey, im sure not everyone can enjoy a painting of a cow carcass lol
ill just share my hotrod art from now on tehehe

man, there sure is some GREAT stuff this work! round of applause guys!

    nice ink 21!!!

That's awesome. A rendering from one of my photos. I'd love to have a copy of that for my wall, Mister Paterson. I'd swap ya a print of the cover photo..

This is the 1st time I have ever post any kind of art.
Nothing special. I just copied a model A scan over into paint and tried to make some like I would like to build someday.
1929 Fordor shortened with a chopped model A bed. Channelled unchopped. I know it may have fundamental technical flaws and the measurements at the bottom are just left over from original pic.

I just got a Wacom and Painter X after being inspired by the awesome car art that I see here every weekend. I haven't drawn any cars for, oh YEARS I guess having opted for the 3D stuff, but that is so time consuming. Here is what I came up with... it took me a long time, as I had the learning curve of the software to deal with, plus I have never done any color shading before. Any crits are welcome so I can improve!

Thanks to someone on another message board, I was directed here to share my Hot Rod Santa. I'll definitely stick around - esp. for these threads. There's a bunch of great art here.

    Anyways, here's my contribution:

I used this for this year's Christmas card - the full layout can be seen over at http://nikscarlett.blogspot.com, if anyone's interested.

  16. I agree, and like to see a bit of arty art in the H.A.M.B. art posts.

    Thanks,
    Kurt

These are some Christmas trees I have been building for 15 years now. I make about 10 different styles out of washers, nuts, bolts, and steel tubing. I also make one using automotive valvetrain components. I have made hundreds and hundreds over the years.

As usual I am totally blown away and inspired by everyone's work. I'm trying to get back into drawing after a long time away and every week I look forward to the art show. Let me just say Mr Patterson...wow 30 mins for that first drawing??? That would take me a few days to do and still look like a spastic chimp drew it. :):):)
