I did this based on Chris Casny's Nash Boattail. I took a few liberties with it, but I'm pretty happy with how it worked out. This may be my piece for the HAMB drags, not sure yet:D I'm hoping to get some better pics from a buddy of mine next week, I was having a rough time.

I also was interviewed for a welding site feature called "Show Me the Metal", and it was published today.
I'm pretty stoked about it, check it out if you have a minute:)

I'm gonna have to mount up on thet Stock Car - It's very close to some of the Dirt Jalopies I crewed on in the 60's.
Ruben I'm finding myself getting really attracted to the line art sketches - I thinh they show much more detail - you the Artist move and put the shading and the light in the best places for the detail.
That stuff is reaching up and grabbing my eye and saying "right here sucker"

Great start so far. Did this on a VW Beetle (year ?) last week and was tool ate getting it to last weeks show. Had to cover a spot on the cowl that had chipped paint so i came up with the little drag race theme. He wanted the mexican beetle on the back fender because thats where some of the last ones were made.

See you all at the Syracuse Nationals next weekend. Im gonna try to take pics of people working along with their artwork at Arties Party Charity Panel Jam.
