Happy Friday...... didn't see anyone kicking this off, so I hope it's OK that I started it.
Thanks for gettin' the ball rollin' there, Bob!
Here's two paintings I completed recently for the "Enamel" Show at Gasoline Gallery August 7th through September 18th!
Finished the Henry...
Forty...that Henry is Bad Ass!
I like mixing things up.
For instance, a '46 Ford convertible and a LeMans racer.
Imagine a class for custom hot rod endurance racers.
The fall-back plan would be for an exotic sports rod.
fantastic stuff so far,dig the diner pic.
Nice one Bob...
Todd...Cool stuff man! Is that Frankie a self portrait? HaHa! Nice work my Friend!
Cool stuff guys!
Awesome soo so far!!! Todd I love that frankenstein! Awesome gasser Forty! Here's progress of some more wreck art! the size is 49 x 30 on wood... but the height will be cut down to 24 inches. I Still need to add more color and a few things here and there. ....pencil, sharpie, colored pencil, and oils
Gary...every one of your drawings needs to be built! Great stuff man!
Thanks, Forty...thats how I look without my beauty sleep and a lack of caffeine!
GaryC- cool kustom racer!
Greco- That's sick...in a sick but cool kind of way!
A new scratched effort: "Alley Kat"
Bomonster- That's bitchin'! Nice nails, bro!
So after doing tons of studies and sketches I can finally show the finished custom tank and fender Evel tribute I did for Cycle Boyz Inc out of Canada....can't wait to see this bike built up...all 1shot.
Clysdale....Just plain awesome!
Bomonster...nice lead sled!
Yet again , an outstanding VISIONARY idea , that we'd all love to build . Being a circut racing fan , I can see this being my "Car of choice" on race day.
Thanks for the insperation Gary.
Great show Guys , man I love friday art show .
Clydesdale, all I can say is the rest of that bike had better be outstanding to live up to that set of tins. Great job.
This is my first piece on the Friday show. A totally photoshopped throwup. My take on the Von Dutch inspired "Flying eyeball" the all seeing eye of providence. The wings are my hands and the feathers are clones on my fingertips. I am big on handcrafted stuff in my physical art as was the Dutchman
This art piece from last week, but with color. Pelikan Ink and a brush.
...and also a Killer Krab donation for a great cause back east
A tribute to Evel Knievel as well.
Flyer for the artshow/benefit happening next weekend in Milltown where you can buy raffle tickets for this thanks to Von Poot!
Alright! Nice stuff everyone. Here's mine. The customer sent me pics of the bike finished, all I did was the pinstriping on the tank and the clearcoat over it. Have a great weekend everybody!
Latest Newsreel: BLACK BANDITO
Hi friday folks!
I know the owner of this car is around on the HAMB, don't know the guy, but loved his ride...
The back of a friends VW type 3
The back of my PT cruiser. It's kinda hard to see on this picture as it's dark silver on a silver basecoat.
Amazing start to the show as always....too much to mention already.
Shot this young lady last weekend at the Cad/LaSalle show
Jeez by my time, it's only 6am, and already its off to a good start!
Some random quick sketches from the pocket sketch book:
This thing was like pinstriping a gravel driveway, the paint was so bad, but I managed to get it done for the customer. Great show everyone.
supposed to look its from 1946....
before pinstriping and letter edging... reason for the scallop design
still not 100% done... seat needs upholstered, etc....
NEW ONE I DID THIS WEEK!
