  7. heya gang,

Some of you might remember when I posted art from my bud Damian Fulton in the FAS a while back. He's a west coast artist, does tons of kustom kulture stuff, etc... Well, even though this is slightly O.T. (although, he does put old cars in his work) I wanted to post something for him if that's okay.

He's having a show at La Luz, starting July 2nd.

    I simply LOVE his work.

LA folks, please go and support a great guy and an amazing artist.

that would be cool!... we are planning on hanging out at the gallery for a while then heading down the street to the Mandarin House, they have a killer tiki bar.

Here is my 8 yr. old daughter's vision of our '54 Chebby when it's done. It's the first piece of art in the garage. The other day she asked if she could have it when I die (the car).

Here is a 1940 Chevy I have driven by so many times I can't even count. I don't know how long it has been sitting out there rusting away. I've noticed it before but it is one of those things that you just forget is there because you see it there for so long. Anyway, I drove up to it the other evening and took a few photos of it.

Although the car isn't exactly "Hamb friendly", I thought the artwork my friend Marty did on this racecar hood was cool. The rockabilly trio The Rumblejetts out of KC put their name on my buddy PeeWee's stockcar. Pee Wee always brags at our local racetracks that his is the only car without any vinyl lettering. :D Artwork is all 1-Shot w/o clear.

Try to have some stuff next week.
    Nice work guys.

    P.S. VIVA AUSTRALIA!

  23. Haven't got much to post this week so I decided to put up some pictures of a good friend's S-10 that he just finished completely re-doing.Not exactly HAMB material but the art work is incredible and all free hand;no stencils.Shane Syx(yes that is his REAL name)is a striper/airbrush artist/panel jam and car show promoter from Fairborn(Dayton)Ohio. His work has to be seen in person to be really appreciated. He does not own a computer(and if he did wouldn't know how to operate it)so I felt that I would honor him with some pictures I took last week when he and his daughter Bri came up to have me lay some lines on the tailgate of her S-10 that Shane is just finishing for her graduation present.
As an aside Shane has done many murals for Ilene Roth(Ed's widow)at the Rat Fink Museum and also some repair work to Tweedy Pie when Larry T.owned it.He has also done work for and with Carl Casper at Carl's shows as well as promoting his own.
Anyway here are the pictures.I'm sure the guys from Perth will enjoy them as Shane was down there awhile back airbrushing B-2 flight simulators.Australia will NEVER be the same again!
