This is a repeat of one of my favorite pen and ink drawings I did a number of years ago of a 35 Auburn boat tailed speedster.
I thought I would add a link this time, to a very cool YouTube video titled "The difference between Art Deco and Streamline Moderne"

All of us that love great art, in my opinion can appreciate the various choices the creator of the video made. There are some very cool cars as well.
    Enjoy from Dennis.

Ed Bruegge made this in 1963 and terrorized strips in central Iowa, western Illinois, and northern Missouri. My memory art of that car is below.

Repost from a few week's ago. Saw this cherry Olds at a breakfast. Low miler, B&W.. Here I mild chopped & shaved it, and converted from a Holiday 4 door hardtop. The MG/ olive tree shadow was drawn later that afternoon. The cylinder head is a Cosworth F1 V8.

1963 T-Bird with a custom Plymouth fastback hardtop and glass

The inspiration came from a Dave Bell Thunderbird drawing and our history with Thunderbirds...

    Hello,

My brother and I used to try our hand at chopping a plastic model to make it look low and mean. But, those efforts always took on the look of a squashed beetle and never had the correct proportions of a chopped sedan. But, as in most custom builds, it is in the eye of the beholder. Does it look nice, are the details correct, it is unusual?

If yes, then it is a nice custom car, in model form or drawing. The radical section jobs on those early 50s cars always looked like something major was missing… it was, the center section !!! So, we stuck to chopping and not sectioning in our efforts.

In high school, one of my friend’s mom bought a fancy Thunderbird for her personal car.

Of course we took the T-bird out for our weekend cruises whenever it was available. The road trips to Hollywood just fit right in with the red sporty Thunderbird. Despite the cold wind and weather at night, the looks/comments we got were priceless. But, as most convertibles are concerned, the top up usually does not look as good as being a top down open roadster.

A friend’s dad had also just bought a T-bird sedan and we compared the two. The hardtop had plus advantages and minuses. Then seeing a custom T-bird of the same year, later on, that helped in the overall look of the hardtop T-Bird.

While the T-bird hardtop is nice, it did create a super blind spot for the driver. So, here is a custom version with the addition of a Plymouth Barracuda Fastback hard top added on to the 62 T-bird bottom. No blind spots for this full custom car.

Ron, I really like this particular drawing you did of the Chevy truck interior, it's just really cool , and the perspective angle is great!
