    Hello,

    This drawing was a new, mid-engine, Karmann Ghia pickup- convertible for those easy, sunny, cruises to the local surf spots. The boards were getting shorter and the fins are a giveaway to the time period. The builds were all in a “dreamworld” and spare time between surf sessions. These headers exit in a special opening behind the wheels under the bed. All of the cars/van/wagons would fit the “wild pipes” thread. It would be interesting to build all of the headers in the drawings. “An exercise in creativity.” The memories of being a young rascal with an early drag racing history and the continued interests in all things automotive live on through the drawings. If only…
