Hoping these are appropriate to post here. I have just stumbled across the world of 35mm cameras. A buddy gave me his Grandma's old set. Including the flash attachment and a telefoto lens. These were a couple of my first shots from the GG show back in July.

  9. Just way too cool........................

Outside of illustration and Design work, I spent some time working with some old junk carburetors from an idea of making some cool, machine age inspired accent lamps. Here's a couple I've made:

Also I am going to try to do shirts in 2012,if I can pull it off this will be the back..
  14. I'm no artist but I enjoy a challenge with the best of 'em. That said I've been away on biz all week and had a lot of extra time on my hands with access to the hotel business kiosk pc.

Here's how my submission came together.

Holiday Inn lobby kiosk with nothing more than Microsoft Windows Word App + Drawing in Word/4 hours of seat time (getting up to let others check email) = My submission

Great Show guys roll on next Friday!

As for me I've been going through the sketchbook this week and taking ink sketches from various events from the past year and knocking them up a gear.

Demo showing the original freehand ink sketch of a Plymouth alongside the digital paintover.

  18. I wish I had time to personally aknowledge all of you!
What a great bunch of creativity this week !!!
    This thing never dissapoints !!
Meanwhile, all I have is a boring meeting scratch done with a ball point on steno paper. (Safari wagon will be pissed - I'm not supposta be drawing on steno anymore - oh well)
This is born from somebody who posted to that 33 Chrysler post this week that is 2 years old... The guy wanted to know what he should do with it - restore or resto rod... he thought it was really rough...:confused:
Anyway - anbody can restore a car - it takes a real man to cut one up !!
My take on the thing - period correct racin roadster...
small sidewall euro tires and wire wheels, channeled and highboy tratment with the lower body work and louvers at the rear... just for fun.

Bo.. Glad you caught the vibe I was going for.. need to do a lot more work to get anywhere close to the skill of those illustrators. I need to figure out where the hell you come up with all your cool ideas...

smarjoram.. just drawing direct into photoshop.. have to say, I love the looseness and skill of your watercolors.. also Empire 32 and Martin Squires your stuff looks great.. just something about analog ....

All the work is so great, Im not sure who's I'd like to have most this week...
