You may not have any idea of how true these words are.

When you let go of control, and you're in the moment, the work will flow through you. It's very much a zen type thing. It's effortless, it's correct...and you can feel it. (but it's a bitch to get there on demand...however, you can learn to let go through practice and quiet time. The masters have found this path. I'm sure guys like Jeff Norwell have found their way there. It shows in their work.

 

Chris Baker I agree. May I also note that you are in possession of one rockin' avatar.

 

It's good to see some watercolour Clysdale. It can be a wild ride .
It's definitely O/T but if you google HANS HEYSEN you may find some of the finest watercolours your likely to see. But I'm biased as he used to live here (1877 - 1968 )

 

WOW! that is just too groovy! It's gonna look great on the wagon!
(I call 1st dibbs on yer old one!)

BTW- I found that you can treat Acrylic just like wood & rough cut it with a really coarse blade on a table saw, miter saw, or bandsaw. Even on secondary cuts, the finer the blade you use, the hotter it gets.

Todd, you know I love your work...but this piece just grabbed me an' won't let go! Everything about it is sooo cool!
