WOW man...great show as always. Like many, I look forward to these every week!
O.K., here are my contributions for the week. I had originally planned on a customized '50 Buick but then ended up drawing these. Both of these renderings are 1/10 scale ideas for my '26/'27 T coupe (minus roof): Filled, smoothed and cut-down doors; lengthened hood; layed back radiator shell; Firestone dirt track tires; 107 inch wheelbase.
Both renderings are AD/Prismacolor markers, Prismacolors & Verithin colored pencils, Nupastel pastels, black ink, and some Golden titanium white acrylic paint pigeon highlights, on Clearprint vellum.
This will probably be the way that I go. On this version, the hood is slightly longer.
Does Bob Drake know your using his art? www.roadsters.com
Here's something from DA FLASH a new guy on here but a lifelong and one of my best friends and a true world class photog........he didnt know how to show these so here ya go.....enjoy I will try to get him to show more of his past work above and beyond the artsy type stuff......
Here's my latest welder's helmet. This one is a personal shout out to 50's horror comics.
As usual you guys are rulers!
Pacheco...bitchin' funny car
Sinclair...those are great
Those helmets are awesome frogger
Great stuff everyone. Meatball is that a "real" pict of the truck?
doubt it just "artistic license" I think...pm Da Flash for more info or he should be on here soon
Excellent. Sometimes the image/pic quality suffers when we post a small image. Knowing it is welded/hammered pieces of metal now, very nice.....
Here's some of my weriodness.... Beehive lady might be good for a laugh
The truck was jacked up with a semi truck sized floor jack, then I lay on the ground with a 12mm lens to take the photo. There is then six hours of photo shop work to make it look like it doe's there. It is on my '09 calendar. The other two a just quickies....
Great show everybody. Sorry i don't have anything this week but soon. Keep them coming, hey that's what the whore house said when the sailors were in town lol........
