To my fellow vets out there, thank you for your service!
,,,nice stuff today,..here's a new one and one under construction...
Nothing new! Here is an old one from many years back.
Thanks for your service Moose! fun art!
This is beautiful, the girl, the car, the setting. Well done!
A HAMB thanks to our Vets.
most excellent show gang, the tributes to our service people are appreciated
A little vintage suitcase art
Some printer's blocks. I paint them black, then sand them with 600 grit paper on a flat block, to expose the copper or lead, then spray them with clear. The 2 shots of rusty parts I took yesterday. There are 3 well rusted and picked over abandoned cars in the park near my house.
Thanks for your post and likes this week. Here's a old photo of my little brothers Chevy pickup. It had a USA theme. Very LOW DOLLAR!
Also an old sketch that I screwed up, of it.
Sent from my SM-G920P using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Love the suitcase art.
Happy early Veterans Day !
Ian Guy artwork
Much appreciated Jigger...Thank you much!!!!
Well, I am pretty sure I drew this for a fellow 1931 DB owner on a Friday....
Old stuff but my flying tiger tribute on my surfer scoop
Gary Campesi's work with a nasty crop. Ian Guy earlier too. I'd be none- too happy to see my mark cropped out & published with no acknowledgement like this.
Man, look at that P51. The ultimate bubble-top.
That is in fact why we do not see Gary here anymore...Perhaps he will Share His Work here again...He is a Gifted Talent...
A great deal of the imagery here and throughout the Hamb is posted without credit...I suspect many grab these images already web bastardized...doesn't make it right, but that may many times be how the cropped imagery was saved when found...I searched Gary's work posted by 47 and there is a large web presence many of them cropped...All Web Artists experience this and it will in fact live beyond ourselves...
It's nice to see participating Hambers posting on topic Hotrod/Custom Art but if you see the Artist or Photographer's name or not give them Credit...it's just an appreciation and thanks to them for Inspiring You...and Share Away I love to see Hotrod/Custom Art.
By the way, I see some of you are...Thank You...It also helps establish how one compliments your sharing of Art...Many don't know you are posting another's Art and compliment You as an Artist and that is really not the case at all...the line in the sand is skewed per say...
How do You Credit?...at a minimum...
Credit to Artist, Owner
Credit to Photographer, Owner
Are they a Hamber?...Post a Link to a related Thread...Web Links are Nice...
I seriously Thank All Photographer's and Artist's that have Come and Gone or are still here Doing What You Do...
You Inspire My Life...I hope the Stogyism's do the same...
...Any Candy?...Hey Franky that was last week how about some snowballs...
Snowballs Schmoeballs show me Art and Candy...
Credit to Photographer's, Owner's
Thanks for all the posts, great art show this week,..Lepus, how bout some pics of those abandoned cars in the park?...another "under construction" pic...
Getting in on the tail end here but wanted to post one for Veterans Day coming up this week. I did this a few years ago to honor the Flying Tigers "Tex Hill". I may have posted it once before.
I agree, Spoggie. Posting someone else's art without any attribution or credit is just wrong. It's almost as if the one posting is taking the credit for the artwork. Full credit needs to be given to the artist in order to provide integrity for the postings. Even a "Not my work" disclaimer is better than nothing, but posting another's work with no credt at all to the original artist is wrong, IMHO>
