    Here's my late entry, just off the easel. My first hot rod acrylic painting. 5X7, obviously I need lots more practice. lol;

    It's based on a pencil sketch I did some time ago, scanned, resized and transfered to the panel. I was going for a "painterly" look but maybe took it too far. lol

    I caught him on an episode of Real Time with Bill Maher a while back. Much like Bill, he was funny as hell and he was right. Great looking piece as well.

  7. Thanks Paul, yea, i sleep a little. These are old sketches I posted a ways back but
    re-popped 'em for the sake of the newbies.
    Thanks Ruben, I appreciate the kind words.
    took me back as well. Can't believe it's been nearly 21 years. Sheesh!
    Thanks Neal. I'm afraid you'd be disappointed if you knew - - -
    - - - -the rest - - - of the story...

    GER!!!!! nice work man! love all that crazy detail.

    A32Flathead, That shot of the stands was a fortunate one. I know it was your intent to get a good shot of the structure but, lucky for us, a couple killer coupes were in the way.
    Beauty of a shot, sir.

    OOOH, I scanned some killer art that may round out my part a bit. Zombie and Janne
    have captured this classic technique and I want to do one myself one day - - - maybe
    for the BETA Project.

    Thanks everyone as well. Today was kind of a messed up day since we had to have our dog put down, so I did not participate as much as I would have liked.

  9. I feel for ya Dan. About 4 weeks ago our dog, Izzy got off his chain and went for an evening run. He didn't even make it a block as he tried to cross the highway. My boys
    found him the next morning, non of us even knew he was gone.
    He was a good dog.

    The forgotten Camaro. 1975 LM1/M20 RS. This just captures it for me.
