Great show guys! The only new thing I have is an O.T. portrait of my wife that I gave to her for her birthday. Check it out at http://swansonartworks.blogspot.com/. Also, all you artists, check out my "artist tips" and tell me what you think. Make sure you click "older posts" at the bottom.
I love the "cleavage pencil" comment above!

    Awesome Del !

What is your medium for the roadster and 'Flussie' truck in the 'posters' section ?
    Airbrush ?? Very nice !

I have always looked for great packaging artwork as inspiration for logos.
Obviously, stuff from the 50's and 60's looks the best to me !
    :)

    Thanks,
I hand inked a line drawing, scanned it in, and colored it in Photoshop. The Buick bike is airbrush ink.

    Fur Biscuit, Very cool. Slim

  30. First off, that's Ger, sambo, Hans' Rod & Cycle, and you others for your kind words.
Second, lots more great stuff from lots of my favorites here. PACHECO, Spoggie, MR_WIM, Ed, 1- shot slinger, Pontiacres Ranch, John(stock phot, bitch'n Ford), neon charly, Johnny J., katzenhammer, Robin B, BigNick1959, Slim Pickens, aceuh, anyone I missed...
Bernie, this shot is amazing. any other shots of this car>

Del Swanson, Great work my friend. The portrait is great. As the son of an art director/graphic designer whose brothers work in the biz, you better
believe studying, not just other peoples work but the whole of God's creation. Observation is an artists best tool.

Jeff Norwell, Speaking of observation, you already know how I feel about this one...

fur biscuit, Great shot, That '66 is too cool. I sure miss my old '66 Imp wagon.
