Yep, a long torturous affair if there ever was one !!!!
Thank you for this cache of hand sketched master draftsmanship!
Lots of sketch work today. Couple oldies just to go along with the theme. The NO CLUB plate was an original design from 2010 that Dennis O'Brien picked up and is producing now.

...great stuff posted this week, thanks to all,...here's a couple of 50 Chevs...
I like your drawing. You sure have a thing for cinder blocks. (I know, they are the traditional kind).
Tim, I'm not telling you what to do, but I would keep an eye on all those raised dots that are on your arm. If they don't go down soon, check for an infection man. Awesome work though.

...I really do like cinder blocks, ...they give the sketches a 3 dimensional look,..and just about any junk stash seems to have em sittin around or under the cars,...thanks.
...my last 2 I posed have no cinder blocks, lol.
Wow, great FAS today! Welcome back smarjoram.
Voodoo Sahara visiting one of my favorite mural walls on Golden, Colorado.
Great FAS guys.
Great bunch of Art, Hambers...
Really inspiring to see the art show with its many different artforms again - great work! Thanks also for all the encouraging comments. If anyone is interested in my process I have quite a few time-lapse sequences of the sketches over on youtube. Here's one...
90% of the time I draw from life. I used to leave the wheels until last because I was scared of them. I learned after a few years that it's better to start with them. Partly because you won't ruin hours of work by doing them badly and partly because along with the axles they make a great 3D framework for the rest of the vehicle to sit on. I also started to pay more attention to where my eye-line and vanishing points were.
Holy Mackerel!!! Do you sleep, ever? Wonderful stuff and welcome back! Gary
Wow, thanks for the treat !
