Let's go for another F.A.S.!
It was last week… and it was really great:
I haven't posting in a long time but this is my latest creation. This is a full size Brookville steel 32 Ford grill shell with a sheet metal Rat Fink I welded up for Arties Party Pinstripers Panel Jam Charity Auction.
This is a rendering of one of my friends Hotwheels custom creations. Indonesian modeler,
Hadi Rochmansyah of Madworx Kustom, is one of the most talented artist/modelers I have ever seen.
Check him out on Facebook at Madworks Kustom for an amount of tiny creations
that will leave you amazed.
Think those are something?… You should see his motorcycles!
Here' are a couple links…
A quick offering from me.
Have a fab weekend.

Happy Friday. Another modded painting from me, acrylic on canvas..
Don't often get to post in the FAS because my clients are typically muscle car guys. But this one was commissioned by one of my regular customers. In the past he's only had me do his muscle car collection, but it seems he has now turned his attention to building a rod. And what a rod it is--'34 Plymouth, 392 Hemi, Divco wheels and some tasty body mods. Not sure what shop is building the car, but it's just about complete and will make it's debut at Goodguys in August. Here's the pencil sketch and I'll have the finished art to show soon.
Edit: Just learned that Hal Burrows and Lee Baxter are the brains behind this build.
I've been busy the last few weeks, road trips, vacations, projects etc. So I thought last night I would do one for todays F.A.S. It is my current project a 27 T coupe. I may change some things before she's finished. This is the plan for now. If you have any ideas please share them. And thanks for all of the Art work
you have posted here. I enjoy this thread a lot. Ron...
This is awesome.
What a great way to start Friday. Love it.
nice stuff again today, really like yours Bob and lockwoodkustoms, great metal work....just a few quick truck doodles from me...
Great start! That RF metal sculpture is off the charts.

Not quite automotive, so do remove it if deemed inappropriate for the board. The techniques are directly translatable though. My 13 y/o has been wanting to make this for quite a while now. Mixed media: snow disc, automotive touch up paints.
A week late for the 4th, but better than never.
Eh, I’ll finish it later, I have a funeral to attend...
I’ll be back!
Rusty1, I love what you call doddles! I would call them finished, and very cool. great stuff from everyone. I too am blown away by the Rat Fink in the 32 shell! Here are a few oldies from the OLD sketch pad. If a repost sorry. Just move along, nothing new to see here. lol I want to give credit to Keith Wessner for the Cherry Pie Idea it's one of my all time favorite's and the pin up girl I can't remember were I saw it, This was 06 when I drew this. Thanks' Ron...
I'm doing a T theme. LOL I want to try to do another junk yard. It was a lot of FUN.
Great start guys! Rat Fink rules!

SoCal open house '16...................
A couple of very cool hot rods from a local show in IL. Enjoy and kudos to all the artists that contribute to the FAS!
Nothing from me lately so I'll just give this kick ass art a bump (page 4?? that ain't right).
I was thinking the same thing? If nothing else, lets see your favorite Oldie. Ron...
REMEMBER the uncertain T as a pickup or the Yak Attack Rod!
Friday is almost over and there's only one page still? Kind of sad. I'm as much to blame as anybody though. I don't have anything new so here are a couple old car show sketches.
Anybody know who Stanley Wanlass is? That last sketch is his '36.
