Thanks @57 Corvette ~ Bob , I see the FAS thread you started is still active. We must be hitting go at the same instant On our post entries. I recall those days when Steve and I, often, simultaneous Posted FAS threads. We would take turns deferring to the other's because we liked to 'share the wealth'. I kinda liked when Jeff Norwell kicked them off. As a veteran HAMB member and top Mod, it just seemed right. Just report the thread to the moderators if you want to remove a thread. They usually catch 'em anyway. Sorry if I stubbed your toe...

Thank you @Ron Funkhouser , I'm just a cog in the machine. Wonderfully blessed and grateful to have this forum and the Friday Art Show to share my "Sketchy Subjects"...

    UH-OH !!!

Actually, I'm going to miss @wicarnut 's postings of other automotive artists he has found. He has turned me on to quite a few artists I had never heard of.

  14. Cool show fellas.
There's a thread elsewhere in the Forums questioning if Charles Shultz was a gear head. He lent some of the Peanuts characters to a few automotive ads back in the 60's. Here's to thinking that he was.

  15. For the record, this is my own work, that's all I post. I really like hand drawn artwork, although a few photos are artsy in their own right. Thanks for a great thread, it makes every CSRA-32 SEDAN 4 DR-v1.jpg CSRA-WILLYS-v1.jpg Friday an even better day!

  26. Hey Rusty?
    Reveal? running boards?

    050079'37.jpg

This is my brother's aussie (Holden) '37. Note the aussie reveal stops at the door. Oh, yes, this car is a true factory roadster- one of around 190 built.
Car is now on a Nostalgia Sid's dropped axle and Fenton-equipped original mill. It's a lil' honey on the road. Paint is original (dark blue 'metallichrome'- a really fine metallic) with fauxtina signs on doors.
