South Australian Rod & Custom Club 50th anniversary dinner. The black & white shows the car, displayed last Saturday on a trailer, which won 'Best of Show' at the first (1965) Adelaide Rod Show.
The Chevy may be a lil' 'street roddy' for your tastes. Hey, any fella who drives 1100 miles thru country to make a dinner is cool in my book. And the all steel roadster is tough & clean. Dig the 12- louver custom hood sides & mica red paint.

    Wicked stuff, all!
Remi, Gary C--love these concepts. The restoration crowd would freak over that airflow, haha.
Here's a concept I did last year for a model car I'm trying to build...slowly.

Spex84, your El Pistolero looks a lot like a tribute to Bill Cushenbury's El Matador. One of my all time favorite 40 Ford coupes.

Wicked sign Ian. I love the typeface that "Deadman" is set in.
xhotrodder--yep, I'm riffing on El Matador (or trying to). That car gets so many things right, it's hard to keep track of it all.

  23. Thanks.
I think the font is called Wolfbane.
This seemed to fit the mood I was going for.

  24. Where's the sticky?...
My first ever entry, is my 13 year old daughters drawing.

    Well done, keep encouraging her.
Spex84, That looks more like a Corvette body than a 40 Ford but it really looks great and doable. Cushenberry's 40 was one of the most influential cars in my early years. I remember seeing it at Blackie's Fresno Autorama in... the 60's.
Well done everyone, I have to single out remi-as-wremss. That Citroen is killer.
