    GaryC.

    What if...
What if Tucker had actually made it as a viable automobile manufacturer?
I would love to have seen it happen. Imagine a convertible... or a pickup...
    or a woodie!

Here's my idea of what the 1949 Tucker Deluxe Sportwagon
might have looked like. I also made up an ad that might have
appeared in magazines of the time.

    My Art Challenge 13 entry.

Just upped the res. on this Very raw copy ( must tweak little figures & details forward of firewall ). Can I say what you see here does not do justice to the original ?
This was drawn ( this week ) on a mouse; in Photoshop.
There's a bunch of folks here already that look like making this week's show another ripper. Very good stuff.
Time to kick back with wine, cheese & music ( some red, some blue & 'Some Kind of Blue'- Miles Davis. )

Great start to the show...you guys rule!

Here are some humble offerings from me to the art gods.

Some pinstriping I did on a couple of cars for the Mad Bombers club of Santa Maria.

Great start as usual Gary C.!!!
Here's my latest pencil rendering... the "Tiki Star Fighter" It's a sweet 30 5 window from the Chicago area. I've seen this car at tons of local shows. Each time I gravitate to it, and shoot some pix. Finally put pencil to board.

Oh yeah....looks like it's gonna be another great show.

GaryC, Zombie, dragula, Squindo, Spoggie, dirtybird, forty - great work!

My piece for this weeks show is really a "practice" painting, using a B/W photo from the So-Cal Speed Shop book as a reference and giving it a little color. Cheers everyone.

  14. Early 60's Ross Thunderjet done up with Apes and WWW Goodyear Cordovan 24" tires. Spoked in a Sturmey 5-speed Internal hub for gearing and some NOS Red Stripe wheels with gold pins. Bobbed the rear fender. Frame, tank and guard are original as found.

My wife gets on to me for not taking enough pictures before the art leaves forever but I have a bunch taken with my camera phone that I finally took off of it. So, sorry for the crappy cell phone pics . Trying to get some stuff ready for the Texas Thaw this weekend.
