If you have it ready in time, you can bring one with my wife on it, to the movie on Sat. just let me know what they are costing so I can have some cash.
I'd buy one with "the chick in my truck" on it, but Phil might hit me over the head with it.

All that I have done has been posted here for the last couple weeks or so. I have another in progress of 40StudeDude and I will ask permission or delete whatever he says.

Your assumption about editors is spot on. Fortunately I'm an Art Director. Steve Coonan and Johnny Hunkins maybe the exception and a couple others.

These stood out for me today:
Hidden - You got a nice light in the colours of that pick up.
Zombie - What can I say. You Rock.
Cruz - I love bikes too. Nicely executed too!
Jigger - I hope your "Beta" fits in here. I'd like to see more.
Janne - The Opel you showed last week made my day. GREAT! Nice to see a european car done right.

After a long meeting at work I found this among my notes... Ball point pen on ordinary copy paper.

  12. Thanks, this is pretty spectacular as well.

You remind me,Janne, I love the pick up. So nice to see you
changing it up so much. Keep 'em comin'!

As always, there's some amazing stuff on the board. So far, I'm especially digging:

    surf monkey
    LOWCAB
    gilty
    zombie

Here's my contribution to this Friday's show... sorry it's been a while. Here's my oil depiction of the Norm Wallace Roadster at Sanford Dragway, Sanford, ME in August of '59. This painting has been in the back of my mind for years and I'm glad to have finally worked it out. I'll be making some posters of this soon and may do a short archival run.

well, we may not be as good as the "real" photographers, but i do think it is important to know the basics. you never know when something is going to fall through, and you're gonna have to play photog.

    ZOMBIE~
those are great shots. The first one reminds me of an Enzyte commercial (male enhancement for men). It just has that nice long custom and the 50's groomed landscape look. killer shot. I'm guessing that whomever owns that ride would agree, that it does have a bit of an enhancing quality to it.

then the one with the blue flames shooting out over the reflected brake lights. awesome as well........

Thanks for the kind words ToddJ

Haven't had a chance to look through everyone's posts yet, will do later. Wanted to get something up this week before the show closes. Most of what I'm doing lately is muscle cars so I'll just share some sketches I did recently in a work meeting. Take an old Wyllis Jeep and hack the body to fit on an early Ford frame. Ford grille shell covered to mimic jeep grill, standard hot rod lights, bubble blower machine gun, wide white slicks sticking out a bit, traditional suspension. I haven't spent much time in the past in the old skool scene so if this has been done sorry to plagiarize. Just something that popped in my head recently. I'll be doing a full rendering in the near future.
