  1. Checking in also- much gratitude for the compliments.

Like LeeMorris said, the work here is "intimidating and inspiring". That goes for everyone that posted this week. Other than the usual jaw-droppers ( you know who you are), the sketches are way cool to see!! Congrats to everybody for entertaining all of us working stiffs.

  3. I was reminded by this show of wheels spinning fast.
Folks out there get familiar with the '70's aussie film stunt work of Grant Page. This is going back a bit. ( Mad Max etc. ) There's a good DVD out by MADMAN Called 'Not Quite Hollywood'. Worth seeing.
One of my favourite stunts is the opening scene of 1975 South Australian Film Corps' movie 'Sunday too Far Away'. Real good movie.

  4. Wow....everyone's producing some amazing stuff....
Hate to single out anyone, but.....
    Britt, awesome work again...amazing...

    Something from the archives...

All I can say is ALL you guys who post artwork on here ROCK! I can see lots of stuff in my head but I'm lucky to draw a straight line with a ruler! I wish I could afford to pay some of you guys to draw my visions, but that's not bloody likely, either (church musicians don't make a lot of dough).

Thanks fortypickup. I found it was a little too raw mabye even sour. So I gave it a little photoshop touch up for flare.

    fortypickup,
I like drawing you posted. It would be cool to have a "hot rod" dictionary with illustrations to accompany all the terms newbie's don't know. I know that I've spent a lot of time searching terms to better understand some of the posts on the forum. I think it would make a cool "coffee table" book.

If I can find a half naked chick willing to lie in the trunk of a car...I'll make it happen.

The trunk hostage was me...I have serious doubts about anyone wanting to see me half naked!:D

Sonny Depalma - your art is over the top! I love model cars, and am staring to get into the monsters - do you have any how-to's for sculpting the monsters?

Thanks for diggin my art. Sorry no how-to's on sculpting, I just buy Sculpty clay and have fun with it. My sculpting is very crude and I am still learning. Thanks again, Sonny
