Alright, it is time to start getting something done on my car,55 Olds, new floors should be done in the next week. I am wanting to do something with the headlights and taillights. The car is going to be chopped this winter so I was thinking about frenching the headlights but I am looking at the fenders with everything stripped off them and the headlight holes are so friggin big that i am affraid that frenching the headlights would look odd. I do have a set of 53 buick front fenders that I had thought about grafting the headlights from them onto the Olds. Some jackass stole the stainless, but I found a few sets for sale. Does any body have some pics of a 55 Olds with frenched headlights or has anyone on here done it? What about the 53 Buick lights on a 55 Olds? What are your opinions or suggestions?

55 olds have the best headlights rings... that's why they are used a lot! change the tail lights and call it done!! :D

I had thought about that, but I cant help thinking about other options. The taillights will be changed, I'm not a fan of them, just havn't decided witch one to use. I do like the rings on the Olds.

If you do french them don't set them way back in a tunnel .If you plan on driving at night the tunneled headlights are not very visable from either side and that gives joe public a excuse to slam into you.My opinion is keep the lights visable.
