french flathead with Ford C4

I have a french flathead V8 255cu and I want an automatic gearbox.
I'm thinking to use a Ford C4 transmission.

Does anyone have experience with it here? (pictures welcome)

I believe there is a few places that sell adapters for the flatty c4 combo do a google search.

 

yes, speedway also has a kit but it does not fit the france flathead
