Technical French flathead/fuel pump question

Discussion in 'Traditional Hot Rods' started by Coupe_of_Frankfurt, Feb 14, 2014.

  1. Dear fellows,
I apologize if the answer is in the archives.
Can someone help me to clarify which rod, bushing, pump and neck I need to install? I have a 8ba intake, and a French block, which should be just as the 8ba. Unfotunately I have no chance to compare...
    Thanks in advance!
    André

    Fuel pump rod is 59ab

Rest depends on type of breathing system/ intake year you used.....

For general reference, '32-48 Ford hole is 3/8, which I think is 4.73 Hectares over there. Anybody got the '49 size handy just for the information to be available here?

    Ha, 4.73 hectares is actually 11.68 acres. 3/8 " is 9.525mm. I thought 8ba push rod is 7/16" which is 11.1125mm. 256mm long . 4-6mm travel.

  6. Thank you all for the answers.
