    Hi Guys,

I got a bare '57 283 block when I picked up my 210. Free to a good home. Looks to be a genuine '57 only block. Casting number is 3731548, stamped number on front pad is T1025F, which I believe makes this a Tonawanda block. Cylinders measure 3.925 each, with no ring ridge. Looks like it was bored .050 over and then forgotten about. Block is covered in surface rust, but no deep pitting in bores. No obvious cracks, but of course it should be considered a core and checked over before you start spending money on it. This is a block only - doesn't even have the main caps.

Located in Southern CT, pick up only. PM if you want pics. Thanks!
