Finally getting around to switching my F100 to a Chevy trailing arm (truck arm) rear suspension.

I don't have a crossmember in my hands yet so can anybody tell me what the stock width of a Chevy frame is?

    Thanks.

The leaf spring trucks have the same crossmember with the holes punched for the control arm brackets. I keep eyeballing a trailer that I have that I built out of the rear half of a 70 that I totaled 22 years ago. I'd loose the trailer or have to put leaf springs under it but it would solve the rear suspension issue on the 48.
