    I have 3 out of the 4. Most are projects though!
    #1 My 1951 Mercury Mild Custom
    #2 My 1929 Model A Roadster.( Eventually with a Model b motor, Riley 4 port and Halibrand Quick change).
    #3 My 1933Ford Pickup
    #4 I would like a land speed car like the Niekamp Roadster.

    I never thought of it that way, but I kind of agree. With no interest in racing for me it's 3 cars:

    Custom-ish '38 convertible

    Stock-ish '50 wagon

    '59 pickup, decidedly non-stock

    No racer for me either, but;
    2 clones;
    Westergard 39 convertible that's in the Harrah collection in Reno.
    Don Hentzells 27 RPU on 32 rails with A fenders.

    33 Ford, slightly updated, pickup. OK, as long as were dreaming make that a 33 Sedan Delivery.
    Now that I'm awake let's see if I can get the Westergard right.

  4. 1. Its a wide open field! I love 49-51 Mercs and Shoeboxes, but I'm also a Chevy guy at heart so a '53-'54 Hardtop or a '61-'62 bubbletop Moriarty-style!

    Well, I need to post pictures, but I'll just go with 4 of them I have now.
    59 Corvette - 377" steet engine - occasional cruising and strip teasing. .
    36 Chevy Truck - 355" mild build, stainless flatbed- drive the poop outta this thing.
    40 Chevy Coupe - really large BBC - hitting the streets & strip in 2019.
    49 Willys Pickup - flathead ford power. - does not get out much, but it hauls firewood. Restoration coming when I retire.

    I'm in the warehouse camp myself... I aspire to Jay Leno's collection, or at least something of similar size. Somehow I doubt I'll ever get anywhere close...
    But back to the task at hand!
    Custom - 1960s Lincoln Continental MkIV, 4-door convertible
    Hot Rod - 1928-1932 Ford, 4 door phaeton
    Race Car - Shelby Daytona coupe
    Pickup - Hudson Terraplane, although the 1958 F100 posted earlier is awfully tempting

    For an old guy with some history in the hot rod/drag race world, the hot rods/cars/trucks would be the following. But, first, we would have to get a 4-5 car garage, which means moving again, which means inland from the coast to afford a 5 car garage. My wife would have something drastically to say about such a move, despite the huge house, new hot rods/fast cars, and property that would be purchased. So, for the sake of the topic post, the 5 are:

    1. A 1928-29 EXTENDED CAB Model A RPU, with a blown 292 SBC, with modified Hilborn Injection, B&M stick hydro or similar, quick change rear, Halibrands, big/littles and full upholstery for street driving. Why an EXTENDED CAB/seating area? I am 6 feet tall/wide shoulders and the seating area of the standard RPU is a little cramped for everyday cruising for one or two. We are not straight arm drivers, but like plenty of room when driving.
    It would only take a few extra inches of body extension rearward of the stock doors. (back to the rear fenders) That would give enough room for two on a daily drive basis. The stock bed length would still be enough for suitcases, tons of succulent plants and maybe some Robellini Palms. (or a shorter bed to keep the proportions similar)

    2. A red, 1965 Chevelle 2 door Station Wagon, big motor, B&M transmission or such, some kind of overdrive unit, A/C, Halibrands/American 5 spoke wheels, tinted windows, S/S interior with Recaro/BMW bucket seats. (safety for my longboard/shortboard)

    3. My original 1940 Ford Sedan Delivery, (my first real purchase, with my own saved money) but with the big 348 motor in place when I saw it rumbling through the Bixby Knolls drive-in parking lot, rather than the stock Flathead. The original bare bones shell and 348/La Salle combination would be preferred.

    4. The original Model A that we had purchased in 1957 Long Beach. We were going to make it into a daily street driver and a competitor in the Gas Coupe and Sedan Class at the drags. We got it running with the stock components, but, my brother sold it to finance the 1958 Impala.

    It probably would have been my first, real, daily driver car when I got my driver’s license. If we had kept the Model A before/after the build it would have served a dual purpose. (before the 1958 black Impala and the 40 Ford Sedan Delivery) My brother already had a nice 51 Olds sedan at the time, or he would have taken the Model A and given me the 51 Olds sedan.

    5. Finally, A 1965 Black AC Cobra 427 CSX, with all of the goodies or with Borrani Wire Wheels. An original, not a re-pop.



    It happened to be 5, not 4 because, if the house were big enough, a 5 car garage would be necessary, then as the 5th garage would need a sunny day driver. So, out pops the 1965-67 (427) CSX Ford Cobra for a nice drive down the OC Coastline.

    1948-53 Step Down Hudson custom. building it now.
    1965 Buick Riviera chopped n dropped.
    1939-49 Diamond T 201 pickup with duallies . Updated engine, winch and kept as a work truck.

    Wouldn't throw 1970 Buick GSX or a 80s/90s drift car out of my garage either.
