unfortunately its been street rodded ,so going to drop her down low put some new shoes on her and fit the roof and drive it all summer .anyone in australia with a complete 46-8 ford chassis i am keen to buy it! thanks chris melbourne australia
i got it from a deceased estate sale in northern australia .i am hoping to find someone who knows the cars history as there was no information with the car
Cool! Completely diffrent ford but If your saying its gonna be hot rodded Im getting the same vibe as this one I love with the red and wouldgrain etc. ........saddle/tan top?
JFYI, your convertible is a very rare wood-bodied Sportsman. According to info I have, a total of 3487 were made from '46-'48, with only 28 for the '48 model year, which were actually reserialed 1947s.
If it were mine,,stock is the way to go...Sportsman is very expensive and desireable,,,worth more than two regular convertables.. set on a low convt? restore the Sportsman,,sell it then buy a regular convt to hotrod....pocket a bunch of cash by doing so
Not a big market for these over here in Australia . Might have to swap it back to lhd and send her back to the USA then! Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
