Hot Rods Found these in a barn recently. (literally)

Actually digging around in the hayloft of a barn. Anybody recognize these grill pieces and know what they might go to?

 

Looks like 39 Chevy.

 

'39 Chevy me thinks.. I'm sure someone will know for sure.

 

If they're not '39 Chevy I don't know what else they'd be. Probably a couple hundred bucks there give or take. Depends how bad the rust is.

So much nicer than the reproductions, someone will be happy to get them. Bob

 

The bottom couple bars always get bent/cracked/mangled on '39 Chevies. If those are not hurt that are worth good money.

 

Has anyone mentioned that they are for a '39 Chevy? HRP

 

They are PVC lawn chairs, available at Walmart. They show a decent amount of patina. OH, I bet you meant the grills, never mind.

Soak them in some white vinegar - be like new!!

 

Aside from being in great shape they will fit as well.

 

HRP---Glad you mentioned they were for a '39 Chevy---I wasn't sure.
