That is a great story. I look forward to seeing the car back together. It is one great looking ride. I hope that you keep the burnt orange paint!

  5. Pretty cool story, I'm sure you've laid your hands on it and wiped a tear from your eye thinking how long it has been, finally came back home.

Thanks for sharing the picture from back in '67. That is a great looking Model A. I saved the picture for a future build. Traditional Hot Rod all around. I will follow the build on this one, expecially if it is going back to like it was when Black.

Way cool that you were able to bring it back home! Hope your brother is still around to enjoy the build with you. Memories like that just never go away do they! I bet in your mind when you got it home you could still here and feel of the ride you took to school that day way back when! CONGRATS!

    Very cool
My current project - Scout gasser - was also the one that started it all for me. I saw it in the 1973 Hot Rod yearbook back when I was an impressionable young man of 11. The truck went on to become somewhat of an urban legend around these parts and it has always stuck with me. As fate would have it, It crossed my path when I was old enough and financialy stable enough to do something about it. Good thing too as I'm sure it was on it's last life not likely to survive any further moves or additional neglect.

Fantastic story. It's gotta feel great having that car back in the family. Love the old and new pictures.

Looks the 44 years have been rougher on you than the coupe.:D Just kidding man.

Hope your brother is still around to share in this.
