I have wanted a Model A roadster since I was a kid. I found this on Craigslist and test drove it today. Got a great deal on it because the folks that had it were selling their house and the A had to go. I plan on keeping it as is. I've looked too long to find a decent original to mess with this one.

Tear off the fenders, throw them away, and put a 350 in it! Just kidding -- looks like a sweetheart.

Clean! One of my dream cars as well. I drove A speedsters cross-country in the Great Race twice, and I'd really like to do a stocker with an overdrive and a floater kit in the brakes, maybe reversed spring eyes and '35 wires.

    But that'd be it!

  8. Very nice!!!

Spend some time enjoying, and getting to know it! :)

Great find! Glad you plan on keeping it original. Not many left. Too good of shape to hot rod.

There's no point in hot rodding a complete, Model-A roadster anymore. A Brookville body is so much cheaper.
I'm quite jealous. Lovely car. Now buy the DVD "Paper Moon" and watch the film.

Congrats. I love 28-29 ford roadsters.

  20. I love the look of it, but I second the idea of adding 35 wires and driving the heck out of it.

That's some great advise. Exactly what I was gonna say. Flathead Ted's brakes work GREAT!
