    Thanks! It sure is a Dodge!! It's been too rainy here to get back to the car, but as soon as things dry out around here I'll head back and see what I can scrounge off of it. (including the little vent window pieces!)

    there's still a few thing left, i drug a 54 chev grill out of the woods for the teeth this summer by my grandparents place in summers county, i've known it was there since i was a kid tho. if you go far enough back in the hills you can still find a thing or two.

  8. That looks worse than 90% of the stuff I find in ... well "secret places", but its always cool to salvage something from the wreckage...

    For example

    I should have got this years ago... and now its worse than it looks here.

    call koolkemp when you dig it out he will build a chopped coupe out of it. It looks better than what he started with.

    I know where there used to be two 50-51 Mercury convertibles sitting out in the desert.
    They were similarly "Air-Conditioned" but still had the top bows with them.

    I haven't been back to the area in quite a while, wonder if they are still there, of has BLM taken them to the crusher?

    Might try to have a look once the snow melts.
