    Cool!

Bring it back to life, or sell it to someone that will, just NOT on ebay!

Also, I would think that a glass tilt front end for a 40 would be kind of rare too.

Center caps look like PI - "Parts International". They were a big parts supplier in the Volkswagen days back in the early '80s.

I was looking at some old stuff an friend had piled up over the years last week, found an mangled Henry J he'd salvaged, with an crap-fabbed straight axle front end someone had done. Mystery small steering box was attached to the front of the frame, and random pieces of round tubing was made into an funny looking drag link that attached to an piece of torched plate stuck onto the driverside spindle. It probably worked for the track...but I wouldn't have wanted to put too many miles on it.

I'm not sure where he got the thing from, he said it used to be some kind of drag car, I guessed it was an gasser.

Not worth saving? That thing looks way better than most of the crap I drag home. Save it, it's way cool.

The best was to bring old magnesium wheels back to life is to use Gibbs Brand on them.

Go to wwwroadsters.com, click on Gibbs Brand penetrant and read all about it.
