Forum rules? Help?

I made my 1st post asking for some help and got a reply saying they can't answer as this was my first post. I was told to read the rules. I searched all over this site looking for rules, but didn't find them. What am I doing wrong?

As stated, an introductory post isn't mandatory. But some members here treat it like it is. You might consider doing it simply as a courtesy.

 

You were captured by the "introduction police" Some of the guys on the HAMB have nothing better to do than police the forum for newbies that don't post an introduction. That means; what do you expect out of the forum, what can you contribute to the forum and what cars do you own or are presently working on. Whatever you do, do not use the words rat or rod. Some of them will go ballistic!!! And, please post pictures as some of those guys can't read but really like to look at pretty pictures.

I think the Intro Police scared him away

 

I have been a member since 2006. I asked for help on something the other day and still put it on the wrong forum. I enjoy reading the post on here and can usually find my answers on previous post. Keep working with it and they will get you in the right direction. It can be a bit confusing but it is a great place once you get the hang of it. Best book of information you can have from a good group of people. No be offended if some one may be giving you a smart ass answer. Most of the time they are just having fun.

 

I looked at your first post and it seems that you got all the info that you needed. what questions do you still have?

click on the the H.A.M.B >
(on the page it takes you to)
click on "THE HOKEY ASS MESSAGE BOARD"
There is a thread that says
"NEW TO THE HAMB INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE" ( CLICK ON IT)
now on the top of the page will have "RULES AND GUIDELINES" (CLICK ON IT)

ALL YOUR QUESTIONS WILL BE ANSWERED AS WELL AS HOW TO USE THE PAGE
