i have an original ford b 32 sport coupe,i would like to transfer into a five
windows:UAPAC has the roof and quarters surround and every things to
    do it !!!!
do you think it is a good idea, i hope the size of a sport coupe is the same
of a five windows (roof size !!!!)

  2. NO!
A 32 sport coupe is more rare and valuable than a standard coupe. Its like turning a 57 T-Bird into a dune buggy.
If you want a 5 window, trade the sport coupe for one. There are many people would would like such a trade.

The first question is what type of condition is the car in? Like the others stated, the sport coupe is rare, but is there a premium for it over a 5 window. The body is the same size as the five window.

  6. In 1932 Ford produced approx 51,794 5 window coupes and only 2,911 Sport Coupes. Converting a Sport Coupe to a 5 window coupe would not only take time and $ you would hurt the resale value as the 32 would end up really being neither. A far as any investment goes, it doesn't make sense to put more money into something to make it of lesser value after.
I have attached a pic of my 32 Sport Coupe which I think looks pretty good as is but if you really don't like the Sport Coupe sell it and purchase a 5 window instead of converting.

That would be like taking a Victoria and converting it to a sedan. Take everyones advice and leave it as is, and find you a good 5 window. Please share pics of your Sport Coupe.

Don't do it, you've got a rare coupe which is worth a lot more. Sell it to some one that will restore it or rod it as a sport coupe.

If it's that valuable flip it for a 3 window not a 5 window.

If it was a rough body and missing some of the top mechanisms id be all about it.

I think the value of a sport coupe is lower than a 5 window coupe, i remember a few years ago there was one on ebay that looked to be pretty decent and was cheap but no one would buy it, hard to say what the problem was.

Do what you want. I had 2 1932 ford sport coupes. They where both good solid projects. Worth about half what a 5 window is. Ever try to sell one? NOT EASY.
