Hey guys I just got wiper blades and arms for my 46 Ford and they are hook type. Question is how do you make the blade not flop side to side in the arm? Is there an insert that go's in there too ?

this is another indication of how the aftermarket is dropping the effing ball . Trico Classic wiper blades are just about the only way to get OEM style bayonet or pin blades and they're damn near inpossible to find. every one of the parts stores carry the full range of plastic dogshit blades, very few can or WILL order the Trico Classics for you. i save every blade assembly off a Falcon or Comet that i find in a salvge yard, and transfer over new blade rubbers IF i can find blades that have removable ones. even THOSE are getting scarce as everyone goes to solid rubber "BLADE" style wipers, which look like a bag of shit on an old car.
