ford trans id help

I have a friend looking for a ford o matic ,I have a trans I pulled off a Y block YEARS ago cant find anywhere to de code the ID tag.Its either bI-208Ib or 6I-208I6 cant tell if its a b or a 6 any help on what I have would be great Thanks

 

I don't think that they put anything but a fordomatic behind a Y block.

 

Hey porknbeaner,Thats what I thought till I went in the shed and dug It out.Looked at it pulled the numbers off the tag looked on line and by the threaded fill tube in the pan,and 14 pan bolts all the sites i was on said its a cruise o matic but i cant find any site that has a tag decoding

 

Look up FMX on the off chance that a Y block in a truck got one of those. I don't think so but you just never know.
