FORD to GM speedo adapters???????

I put a 500 inch caddy in my 66 ford pickup and was wondering if they make an adapter or something so I can hook my ford spedometer cable to the turbo 400 or if you have to special order a cable with the desired ends. and in either case who to call. thanx

Ditch the Ford cable and a standard GM cable of the correct length should work.

 

just make sure its a cable for an OLD GM, mid 60s and back should do it. Later GMs had a funky clip connection at the speedo, which didn't use a threaded nut.

 

Justin, I cut my stock Merc cable at the tranny and J B welded a C-6 end to it. Bingo!!!!!!............OLDBEET

 

Thanks for the help fellas, Beet I got some JB weld in the fridge. Im gunna do that. I have put enough money into that stinkin truck.
