Friday Night Lights….
I know a guy that built a brand new Comet Cyclone to Thunderbolt 427 specs for the street. Worked in the parts department of the local dealership. What a beast it was.
I will see if I can get some photos of that Cyclone. It was the only street car around my hometown that could actually pull a wheelie upon demand. This was verified by many independent witnesses. It was a common thing, until the last street wheelie put him in the ditch.

Phil Bonner's 1st Thunderbolt, car #4. It was wrecked but not by him. His second car was #64.
I gather this was car #4 when it came with the original cloverleaf hood before it was swapped to a teardrop.
Don't know if this has been posted previously, Ford actually lost $1,800 on each car
