Technical Ford Spindle identification please

    I have these old chrome spindles I thought were model a but they are round.. did model a have round back spindles?

    A modified 37-41 round back.

    No, not '37. That was forged for the through-bolt type arms. Early A were round...do you have any '37 up ones to compare? If A, the spindle shaft will be a little less than 1/2" longer than the late V8. '48 up truck also used the bolt-through steering arms but these don't look right for those.

    Bruce is right, I'm wrong. I should have known that as I have a pair of the early 28 A round spindles.

    F100 Ford truck, if I remember right the KP inclination is different than early fords
