This is a mechanical (solid) lifter camshaft for the 1962-87 221-302 Ford V8. These were produced by Crane in the late 60's - early 70's. Advertised duration is 300 degrees on both intake and exhaust. Recommended valve lash is .020" intake, .024" exhaust, at operating temperature. Cam lobe lift is .299", providing .478" gross valve lift with the standard 1.6:1 ratio rocker arms. The duration at .050" cam lift is 227 degrees. Cam timing at .050" is: intake opens 3 BTDC, intake closes 45 ABDC, exhaust opens 51 BBDC, exhaust closes 3 BTDC. lobe separation is 114 degrees, with three degrees of advance ground into the cam. This is a mild street style camshaft, with a power range of about 2500- 5800 RPM. Regards, Chase
