Will the intake manifold of my '62 223 fit on a '54 223?

    Any help is appreciated

    Thanks,
    Jerry

As far as I know, they are the same intake. I base this on the intake on my 59 223 is the same as the 65 223, one of many as we race the motor at El Mirage and Bonneville. And we are allowed to use the 65 223 as it is the same block as the first year 54 223. And you might check with the aftermarket and see the year that their intakes will fit.

What years/ models (truck) of the 223 have interchangeable exhaust manifolds?

All ford 223s are interchangable. 6=8 has a nice split tube header available since fenton cast headers are near impossiable to find for the 223 i6 ford. Chevy its a mail order deal.

There are head, valve cover and rocker arm differences between the 221 and 223.
