You're getting a 51 what? Mercury or Ford?
Here's a tip;
search for "HAMB Shoebox Club" or "49-51 Mercs,lets see em"

I've laid my hands on both '51 Ford Mercury coupe & a '51 Ford sedan(gonna make it into a conv.)thanx everyone for the pics so far...

"51Ford Mercury Coupe" WTF!!! I'm confused...

 

Ok...coupe/2-door...same body style as yours Bob,& it's a '49 Merc that I'm gonna put '51 Merc front clip & taillights on it,with a '57 Chevy front bumper(seeing I've got one)

 

It's the Ford Mercury bit that he's confused about. They're 2 different makes, same parent. But I think we now know it's a Mercury coupe.
