Has anyone got an explorer 8.8 rearend that easily accessible to take me a measurement? I have this piece in the lathe at work and hate to take it out before finishing it. I made my drive shaft too short and am machining a spacer instead of having to get another drive shaft made. It's in my 37 Ford pickup. running a 350 turbo to the 8.8 explorer rearend.
I have the drive shaft mounting hole dimensions... what i need is in the center of the plate where the drive shaft end mounts too there is a large nut as well as a shoulder on the disc (to help the alignment i'm guessing). what's the through hole dimension I need to bore as well as the OD and distance of the shoulder. 1.98" x .125"? I measured it a couple of weeks ago but didn't write it down.
    thanks for any help.
