Ford 8" Rear Axle - Where to find one?

thanx for the update; i was going to spend tomorrow morning looking for that axle. you just saved me a couple of hours.

I am looking for seals for the same axle (rebuilding the rear end on my fairlane) and I can't find the right dimension seal. You said a 67 granada? Granada's didn't come out til 75?

My son is having similar troubles with a seal on his early Falcon ute fitted with an 8 inch rear. Do you recall the part number?

Glad to hear it is fixed.

I was thinking that instead of a repair sleeve, you could probably build up the worn area by brazing and then machine it back to spec.

Anybody have experience/comments about this suggestion?
