Technical Followup Post to chevy Distributor in Ford Flathead 3/1/20

    Thank you guys for the clarification on the distributor rotation. I should have included a bit more info, in that the dist housing is 8BA. Walt Dupont(here in Maine, 15 miles from me) built the motor and adapted the 8BA dist. I`am sure some of you are familiar with his work. I just needed a bit of memory jogging. I would have asked "Bubba" but he has retired and I did not want to pester him. I do appreciate you all for the help.

    Figuring distributor rotation is easy if it has a vacuum advance on it. wrap your thumb around the advance with the advance in your palm and wrap your index finger around the distributor body. your index finger shows the direction of rotation.
