I can't find painted steel top iron kit for my 1930 Ford Cabriolet. Anyone know if a '29 roadster top is close enough to use as a start to modify it to fit? I'll be chopping it anyway.

    Thanks in advance.

Cabriolet and roadster tops are completely different in operation and design.

Saw an ad on epay for a "universal" folding setup that looked pretty good.
Original top irons for any model or year seem to be non existent.

Le Barron Bonney sells folding top iron kits to suit almost anything Ford. I bought all my OEM GM trim from its sister company Hampton Coach.
