Well crap i guess im next in line. I live in Wichita Kansas, and my dad owns a small hot rod shop. I am currently building a chopped and channelled 32 three window. Power is supplied by a Lincoln 430 with an Isky solid cam, a crower 6x2 intake, and a Joe Hunt Mag (the motor was owned by unclescooby) backed by a 4sp toploader. We finished the frame and start on the body Wed. Heres some pics of our progress: [/IMG] Thanks!
Gasser's are very cool....Welcome to da HAMB! ...from a former Olathe Kansas dude. Here is my street Gasser I built and drove for 4 days before some 65 year old guy "Had to have it" $$
It is wonderful to meet another new kid, I am hesitent to say guy seeing as how I am a lady and all, but especially nice to meet another one from Wichita.... what is the naem of your dads shop?
Welcome! Do you have any pictures of the motor? I've heard the Ford MEL engines are pretty unique. That intake must be rare.
Welcome from yet another Gasser guy. I used to live in Kansas back in olden times, and terrorized the streets of Wichita occassionally...You're lookin' good so far! Gonna have it at MoKan for the HAMB drags? Anyway, it sounds like an awesome car - congrats
Welcome to the Hamb, that makes two from Wichita in two days, plus there is a few others from Wichita already. Plus the KC area. I believe Kansas is becoming THE center of the rod and custom universe We are so far behind the times in this state that we are cutting edge Farmall BTW that frame is looking good
No kid sorry, my 'name' doesn't have anything to do with the bar, I am just an old sailor tatt junkie and a stylized picture of an achor was a how I signed some old pinstripe pannels I did, testing out striping names you know... ha.
As soon as i get my ass up to Indy to pick up the motor from uncle scooby, then i will post pics for the big ol hunk of lincoln power!
Hey, you said your dad owned a hot rod shop here in town, do they do everything including aphulstry (sp)? I was looking around for some ideas and quotes on the interior of my wagon, I will try to get some pics of the state it is in now. Anyway, good luck with your '32 and maybe I'll see you around.
