Hot Rods Flywheels

Are 59AB and 8ba fly wheels and starters interchangeable?

 

Wwwait....

 

The starters are.
The flywheels not.

 

Starters are the same except for the automatic trans on the 8BA. As stated, flywheels on 59A and 8BA are different.

 

On 8ba flywheels the threaded pressure plate bolt holes go through the flywheel. 59ab flywheels have blind holes for the pressure plate.
