    Does anyone know what if any safety mods are required to race? harness,helmet,fire ext?

    It depends on what type car you are planning on running.
    If it is enclosed, I believe a helmet is all that is required. Fire suits, arm restraints are for dragsters and such.
    Make sure you have a puke bottle on the radiator, seat belts and helmet and you should be good to go.
    This is an "outlaw" track that we are running at, Alan does the tech.

    I'm sure Alan will chime in, but most street driven rods / customs would not be fast enough to require the driver to wear a helmet.
