Yikes! Get well soon Flop. I fell off a scaffold once, didnt get hurt, just plain damned lucky.

 

Thank you everyone so much for all of your well wishes & good vibes. I'm home after 3 long days in the hospital with the addition of some stainless steel & screws in my forearm and 8 stitches above. It could have been a lot worse, but I definitely my learned my lesson.

I should be out of commission for only a month or so and will be spending a lot of time on the HAMB during my time out. Again - thanks so much for thinking of me!

ahhh its a stupid little ladder in my shop that leads to storage and i was moving a hood around .

 

Get well dude that's awful news but like you said, could have been so much worse. Thank God it wasn't. Heal up and relax for a bit. By the time you pick up your hammer and dolly again the temps won't be so brutal.

 

i know the pain man, i took a tumble off a 6' stepladder back in 07' broke my right femur. was out of work for 8 months. listen to the doctors and do any phys. therapy you can. get things moving as soon as the doc lets you. take care and get well soon Mark
